Dear New Schalamar Neighbor,

Welcome! Although we hated to see our old neighbors go, it’s good to see and meet our new neighbors. Welcome, welcome, welcome! We are honored to have you as part of our community and look forward to sharing all the wonderful things that Lakeland and Schalamar Creek have to offer.

Our HOA sponsors the Schalamar Welcome Committee, a group of volunteers who would like the opportunity to meet your family in person to present a gift and goody bag to welcome you.

Our goody bag contains valuable information about the community, Lakeland, and other useful items for your use as you get accustomed to your new neighborhood. In addition, we’d like to introduce you to all the wonderful activities and events that are happening in the community.

You have moved into an active, friendly, and caring community that wants you to be as enthusiastic about Schalamar Creek as we are!

Welcome! Although we hated to see our old neighbors go, it’s good to see and meet our new neighbors! Welcome, welcome, welcome! We are honored to have you as part of our community and look forward to sharing all the wonderful things that Lakeland and Schalamar Creek have to offer.

The buttons to the left will provide information and a quick reference about our community and Lakeland in general. This information is a snapshot in time and may change. The most current information will be posted on the HOA Website at www.shalamarcreekhoa.com.

We have an array of events to keep you as busy as you want to be, whether you want to volunteer or just enjoy the amenities. Due to the coronavirus (March 2020 – current date), days and times have been interrupted for a number of the activities here in the park, however, we have provided you with list of names and their contact information once the activities have resumed. We have also listed the many ways we communicate upcoming events, issues, meetings, reminders, announcements or notes of interest that will help you keep up to date with the things that are happening here at Schalamar.

We have a very strong HOA within the community and we encourage you to become a member. We also encourage you to attend our monthly meetings, whether you are a member ($10.00 annual dues) or not, so your voice can be heard. Please refer to the HOA/FMO section of this booklet for further information on what your HOA volunteers can do for you and the benefits of being an HOA member.

We hope you will find the information in this booklet helpful and that it will answer your many questions about our community and the surrounding area. If it doesn’t, the Residents here are super friendly and helpful; but if they can’t answer your questions, contact a member of the HOA Board and they will point you in the right direction. Please don’t hesitate to call.
