About Schalamar Creek

Located in Lakeland, Florida on the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando, Schalamar Creek Golf & Country Club is a 55+ resort style land lease community for active adults. There are about 875 manufactured homes, many bordering our beautiful 18 hole golf course. Residents have numerous options for staying active. The clubhouse offers a variety of amenities including a restaurant, library, ballroom, exercise room, two swimming pools, tennis and pickleball. The pro shop serves our active golf community with groups for men, women and couples. Our HOA Activities Committee offers planned events like concerts, dances and parties , and sponsors many clubs and groups such as shuffleboard, bingo, and crafts. Major Orlando theme parks are easily accessible within an hour, and gulf coast beaches are within an hour and a half. Lakeland, a city of about 100,000, offers something for everyone, from shopping to spring baseball, or scenic lakes to museums.
